A.A. Al Moosa Enterprises, the parent company of leading car rental brands Thrifty and Dollar, has announced plans to expand its fleet and revenue by 30% in 2025. This bold goal comes as the group recently revamped its car rental corporate headquarters on Zabeel Road, a move designed to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and employee well-being.
During the headquarters inauguration, Mr. Abdullah Al Moosa, Founder and Chairman of A.A. Al Moosa Enterprises, highlighted the group’s legacy of innovation in the UAE’s car rental sector. “We were the first to introduce the car rental concept to the UAE over 50 years ago. With this pioneering spirit and our revamped facilities, we’re committed to meeting the evolving needs of employees, associates, and customers while building a brighter future,” he said.
The revamped headquarters spans 10,000 square feet in phase one, with phase two adding another 10,000 square feet. The facility boasts advanced features such as:
- State-of-the-art conference rooms equipped with AI for enhanced productivity.
- Sustainability initiatives, including plastic-free practices and green spaces.
- A well-being-focused design that maximizes natural light and promotes a healthier workplace environment.
Ambitious Growth Plans for 2025
Rahul Singh, Managing Director of the Car Rental Division, revealed that the ambitious 30% growth target builds on a strong foundation of 25% year-on-year growth achieved over the past two years. “Both Thrifty and Dollar are renowned for their customer-centric approach and innovative solutions. This topline growth plan also allows for significant expansion in our bottom line,” he stated.
Expanding UAE Presence
Since pioneering the car rental industry in the UAE in the 1980s, Thrifty and Dollar have established the largest distribution network in the region, with over 80 locations at airports, malls, and business hubs.
This milestone underscores A.A. Al Moosa Enterprises’ commitment to shaping the future of the UAE car rental business while staying true to its founder’s visionary legacy.
